Smart Engineering and Production in Slovenia

On June 11, 2026, Alkatron, Phoenix Contact’s partner in Slovenia, hosted a Smart Engineering and Production event together with Eplan and Rittal. The event brought together industry experts and customers to explore practical approaches for increasing efficiency in panel building and manufacturing.

A key focus was the Digital Twin and its application in real-world engineering and production processes. Through presentations, expert discussions, and a roundtable featuring representatives from Alkatron, Eplan Slovenia, Rittal Slovenia, and INEA, participants gained valuable insights into digitalized workflows and collaborative innovation.

The event demonstrated how the SEAP ecosystem connects local expertise with international partnerships to drive smarter engineering and production across Europe.

20 years of PLC Portugal: Driving Innovation and Industry Forward

PLC Portugal 2025 celebrated its 20th edition on October 28th in Figueira da Foz, marking a historic milestone for the country’s leading industrial event. Organized by Phoenix Contact, Eplan, and Rittal, it focused on Productivity, Leadership, and Competitiveness, featuring expert talks, a technology showcase, and a roundtable on the topic of the “Future of Smart Industrial Operations”.

Joint Innovation: SEAP Brazil 2025

In September 2025 in Brazil, during the launch of Eplan 2026, Rittal and Phoenix Contact were present at a series of events on joint innovation: the Eplan Innovation Tour. The tour featured four in-person events in different regions of the country and a special online edition. In addition to presenting the new features of the platform, the main focus of the event was to showcase the innovations that the three companies have been developing together, whether with technologies that integrate into the industrial value chain or in close and integrated relationships with our customers.

Review from Canada: Efficiency in panel production

On June 18, 2025, a technical meeting was held in Québec City with Eplan, Rittal and Phoenix Contact, which was entirely dedicated to optimizing engineering and production processes in panel assembly. Participants were given practical insights into how end-to-end digital processes can save over 50% of processing time. The event impressively demonstrated how companies can increase their productivity and reduce costs at the same time.

Review from Poland: Digitalization in switch cabinet production

 On May 29-30, 2025, the SEAP conference took place in Pałac Wąsowo with 116 participants from 66 companies. Phoenix Contact, Eplan and Rittal presented innovative approaches to digitalization and increasing efficiency in enclosure production in four themed modules and practical workshops. An additional highlight was the visit to the Phoenix Contact plant in Nowy Tomyśl.

19th edition of PLC Portugal under the motto "Towards Zero Impact Industry"

The 19th edition of PLC Portugal was a success! Under the motto "Towards Zero Impact Industry", Rittal, Phoenix Contact and Eplan offered an important discussion forum on the future of the industry.

Since 2006, we have been presenting the latest technical solutions for the Portuguese industry at an annual event with many new features, including presentations, workshops and lots of networking.

Enclosure Festival 2024: Innovation boost for the enclosure industry

As part of the Control Cabinet Designers in Germany initiative, Eplan, Rittal and Phoenix Contact can look back with pride on the 2024 Control Cabinet Festival. Under the motto "1 location, 5 trucks & 100 things to experience", the event provided a platform for innovative solutions and forward-looking discussions. With exciting presentations, practical demonstrations and intensive networking, the event was a complete success. The synergy of the SchaltschrankGESTALTER was clearly noticeable. We look forward to the continuation in 2025!
